Who are We? The TAC! We are blind, low-vision, and sighted artists and allies devoted to teaching tactile art, tactile graphics, and creative image-making to blind and low-vision kids and adults.

Our work fights image poverty one tactile drawing, folded sculpture, raised line, coded SVG, print, and shared workshop table at a time.

The Tactile Art Collective is honored to receive the 2026 Dr. Jacob Bolotin Award from the National Federation of the Blind. This recognition supports our work teaching tactile drawing, tactile graphics, creative technology, and embodied art practices with blind and low-vision learners.

Join the Tactile Art Collective for a free virtual community event all about using drawing as an emotional outlet. Whether you would like to de-stress or take a break from life's obligations, or channel your inner joy onto the page for all to see and feel, there is something to be had for everyone in this community zoom event.

You need not have attended a Tactile Art Collective event in the past to join, and artists of all skill and experience levels including first-time artists are welcome. All you need is a ballpoint pen, a piece of paper, a Sensational Blackboard or cilicone surface to draw on, and your feelings big or small
